TheMightyOne is a hard-hitting rock band fronted by Tim Steinruck, aka TheMightyOne. Based out of Vancouver, BC, the group originally formed in 2008 after Tim recorded the self-titled debut. That, along with their most current upcoming release entitled, “SHiFT” have strong lyrical themes of awaking to a spiritual consciousness.
While far from religious, his universal outlook as relayed though staunch, gut-crushing rock; thick, powerful chords and virulent melodies is no less commanding, demanding, enthralling or compelling than the greatest of Gospel preachers. Channelling spirituality into guttural and forthright yet eloquently refined music, TheMightyOne is quickly ushering in a new era of passionate rock ‘n’ roll: Conscious Rock.
There’s a revolution going on…..a change within the way we see our relationship with the world as know it. The “Occupy” movement and the “Arab Spring” are reflections of a larger paradigm “SHiFT” in thinking spreading like a wildfire across the globe.
Many would prefer to ignore and not speak of this reality, but on a deeper level we are all aware that a radical “SHiFT” is at hand. Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sounds of Silence” was a song of change during a dark time in American history. It’s message of the power of the unspoken is more powerful, poignant and timely than ever today.
TheMightyOne isn’t just affecting a change in rock. He’s ushering an awakening of the masses. Spurring listeners to awaken from the sleepwalk of life and embrace the here-and-now via rip-roarin’ rock ‘n’ roll heard on the new album entitiled,’SHiFT’
In celebration of the release we are offering 100 FREE downloads of the “SHiFT’ album…available on a first come first serve basis. Click Here!
Tim Steinruck, founder of Vancouver’s TheMightyOne, calls his music “hard rock.” Others might prefer “metal.” Whatever, it is certainly insistent, heavily power-chorded, leather ’n’ shades loud stuff that contrasts interestingly with Steinruck’s beginnings.
